Kade Villa Grou's living room and dining area have gorgeous views of the lake, the fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the laundry room and has access to a lovely square with a view of the ancient Sint Piter Church.
Upstairs, the one bedroom with a queen size bed and one the bedroom with 2 single beds have lake view, the third bedroom with 2 single beds has a view of the square. The large bright bathroom has a double sink, a toilet, a shower and a bath tub.
Grou is filled with lovely shops and boutiques, cafes, restaurants and the famous Thee Huis, directly on the lake. In the warm Summer months, this little village is full of vacationers enjoying the outdoor activities, from sailing to biking, to hiking in the many national parks or simply enjoying lunch or an aperitif on one of the many terraces.
Nearby towns such as Leeuwarden, Sneek, Dokkum and Harlingen are also worth a visit.
Small sailboats and motorboats are available for rent by the docks.
